Job Requirements

  • must possess an active secret security clearance
  • ability to obtain us ts/sci w/poly level clearance if required
  • minimum of thirteen years experience in food services or equivalent
  • experience working in challenging food service environments
  • ability to maintain serve-safe standards
  • work in fast-paced kitchen environment
  • stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • associate’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • minimum of seven years as an executive chef in large food service operations
  • over ten years of total experience in food services
  • proven leadership and team development skills
  • certification in Serve-Safe or equivalent food safety training
  • experience in cafeteria-style or multi-entree food service environments
  • ability to create innovative and high-quality menus

Job Duties

  • plan and develop menus that meet quality and customer approval standards
  • oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with recipes and safety standards
  • manage ordering and inventory to maintain product availability
  • supervise and train kitchen and food service staff
  • monitor food and labor costs to achieve budget targets
  • ensure adherence to Serve-Safe and other regulatory food safety protocols
  • coordinate all aspects of kitchen and dining area operations to maintain smooth service flow
