Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Ability to learn and follow established policy and procedures
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal instruction
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to provide customer service
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
- Must be eligible for company auto insurance coverage
- Possess Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of hire and maintain it
- Pass post-offer occupational health physical assessment, drug screen, and background check including employment, criminal, and education verification

- Additional related education or experience preferred
Job Duties
- Transports food safely and efficiently between various facilities following appropriate safety and Health Department policies
- Delivers food to various facilities and assists in putting delivery away and picking up materials such as vendor invoices and cashier forms
- Inspects vehicle daily and ensures good running condition including scheduled maintenance
- Maintains accurate log of vehicle runs and other vehicle activity
- Cleans and sanitizes dishes, trays, cooking utensils, designated equipment, and kitchen areas while monitoring dish machine temperature
- May deliver meals and nourishments and assist in catering or special event service
- May handle transactions at cash register or cafe
- Sets up work station and prepares assigned foods and nourishments according to portion control and quality standards
- Interacts with food service personnel, hospital staff, patients, and families while following sanitation standards and customer service protocols
