- Proficient in handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
- Comfortable utilizing gps and adhering to specific delivery instructions
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of lifting and carrying insulated delivery bags (up to 50 lbs)
- Highly dependable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous delivery experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- High school diploma or ged equivalency preferred
Job Duties
- Safely and promptly deliver papa john's products to residential and business locations
- Verify order accuracy and efficiently process customer payments (cash, credit/debit)
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your delivery vehicle
- Assist with in-store tasks during non-delivery periods, such as preparing boxes, answering phones, or light cleaning duties
- Strictly adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain clear and effective communication with restaurant staff and management
- Strategically manage delivery routes to maximize efficiency and ensure timely service
- Contribute positively to the team atmosphere and uphold papa john's brand standards
- Professionally address customer inquiries and resolve minor issues as they arise
