Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months dishwashing or cleaning experience in a professional setting
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to pass an initial criminal background check and ongoing checks every four years
  • eligibility to work in the United States before the effective date of appointment
  • willingness to support emergency procedures and work in a team-focused environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures
  • 1+ years of dishwashing experience in a high-volume institutional professional kitchen setting
  • ability to perform duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work well with a diverse team

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate and role model exceptional customer service
  • perform duties in a high-volume, dynamic student residential dining environment
  • provide support and assist in the implementation of plans and procedures in the event of an emergency
  • operate a dishwashing station and associated equipment
  • clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure food safety and sanitation
  • assist and train student employees as needed
  • shelve and organize inventory and move equipment and furniture for dining events
