Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months dishwashing or cleaning experience in a professional setting
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to pass an initial criminal background check and ongoing checks every four years
- eligibility to work in the United States before the effective date of appointment
- willingness to support emergency procedures and work in a team-focused environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures
- 1+ years of dishwashing experience in a high-volume institutional professional kitchen setting
- ability to perform duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work well with a diverse team
Job Duties
- Demonstrate and role model exceptional customer service
- perform duties in a high-volume, dynamic student residential dining environment
- provide support and assist in the implementation of plans and procedures in the event of an emergency
- operate a dishwashing station and associated equipment
- clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure food safety and sanitation
- assist and train student employees as needed
- shelve and organize inventory and move equipment and furniture for dining events
