Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare experience required
- 3 to 5 years of tenured experience as a Food Service Director in a hospital or large CCRC
- Strong communication skills
- Financial acumen
- Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare experience required
- 3 to 5 years of tenured experience as a Food Service Director in a hospital or large CCRC, preferably in a pediatric hospital
- Strong communication skills, financial acumen and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard model
- Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
Job Duties
- Deliver strong operational performance by executing against Aramark Healthcare+ and regulatory agency standards and programs
- Ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards
- Coordinate and supervise unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labor management and employee training
- Recruit, hire, develop and retain front line team
- Interact with client management and maintain effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization, including conducting rounding
- Provide overall direction and manage performance for all Food Service Managers, Supervisors and front line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement and compliance with human resource related policies and standards
- Direct, staff, and train food service department regarding food presentation, quality, cost control, and cash handling
- Develop operational component forecasts and explain variances
- Ensure compliance with all contract obligations
