Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Healthcare experience required
  • 3 to 5 years of tenured experience as a Food Service Director in a hospital or large CCRC
  • Strong communication skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Healthcare experience required
  • 3 to 5 years of tenured experience as a Food Service Director in a hospital or large CCRC, preferably in a pediatric hospital
  • Strong communication skills, financial acumen and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard model
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers

Job Duties

  • Deliver strong operational performance by executing against Aramark Healthcare+ and regulatory agency standards and programs
  • Ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards
  • Coordinate and supervise unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labor management and employee training
  • Recruit, hire, develop and retain front line team
  • Interact with client management and maintain effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization, including conducting rounding
  • Provide overall direction and manage performance for all Food Service Managers, Supervisors and front line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement and compliance with human resource related policies and standards
  • Direct, staff, and train food service department regarding food presentation, quality, cost control, and cash handling
  • Develop operational component forecasts and explain variances
  • Ensure compliance with all contract obligations
