Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of experience in food service
- Minimum 1-3 years of management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop client and customer rapport
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
- Capacity to work collaboratively with other departments
- Physical ability to lift carry push pull up to 50 lb
- Ability to stand for long periods
Job Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience
- 1-3 years in a management role
- Previous food service experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark’s standard model
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with other departments
- Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 lb occasionally
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Lead mentor engage and develop teams to maximize contributions including recruiting assessing training coaching and managing performance
- Ensure food services connect to the Executional Framework
- Coach employees creating a shared understanding about goals and execution
- Reward and recognize employees
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards in operations
- Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
- Adopt Aramark processes and systems
- Build revenue and manage budget including cost controls on food beverage and labor
- Complete and maintain P&L statements
- Achieve food and labor targets
- Manage resources for quality and cost control within budget
- Implement and maintain Aramark agenda for labor and food initiatives
- Create value through efficient operations cost controls and profit management
- Ensure full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals
- Direct and oversee production distribution and food service operations
- Maintain a safe healthy environment
- Comply with policies rules and regulations
- Establish systems for ordering receiving storing preparing and serving food
- Plan and develop menus
- Forecast operations components and explain variances
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards
- Supervise unit personnel in production merchandising quality cost control labor management and training
- Recruit hire develop and retain front line teams
- Conduct inventory
- Maintain records for Aramark government and accrediting standards
- Interact with client management maintaining effective relations
- Participate in sales process and contract negotiation
- Implement new products and services for sales growth and retention
- Manage front of house dining operations
- Develop and implement food service plans aligned with client mission and vision including sustainable practices
