Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • minimum of three years experience in food service management or related field
  • knowledge of school nutrition program regulations
  • ability to work full time on a 43-week basis aligned to the school calendar
  • strong leadership and management capabilities
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • proficiency with budget management and inventory control

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, food service management, or related field preferred
  • experience managing school nutrition programs or similar food service operations
  • knowledge of USDA Child Nutrition Program requirements
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • ability to manage budgets and procurement
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in food safety standards and compliance
  • experience with staff supervision and training

Job Duties

  • lead and manage the district-wide School Nutrition Program
  • maintain safe, efficient, and compliant preparation and service of meals
  • oversee food production and service systems
  • manage budgeting, procurement, and inventory
  • supervise food service staff
  • ensure program accountability
  • implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • maintain compliance with USDA Child Nutrition Program requirements and applicable regulations
