Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- minimum of three years experience in food service management or related field
- knowledge of school nutrition program regulations
- ability to work full time on a 43-week basis aligned to the school calendar
- strong leadership and management capabilities
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- proficiency with budget management and inventory control
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, food service management, or related field preferred
- experience managing school nutrition programs or similar food service operations
- knowledge of USDA Child Nutrition Program requirements
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- ability to manage budgets and procurement
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in food safety standards and compliance
- experience with staff supervision and training
Job Duties
- lead and manage the district-wide School Nutrition Program
- maintain safe, efficient, and compliant preparation and service of meals
- oversee food production and service systems
- manage budgeting, procurement, and inventory
- supervise food service staff
- ensure program accountability
- implement continuous improvement initiatives
- maintain compliance with USDA Child Nutrition Program requirements and applicable regulations
