Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid Indiana driver's license
- ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
- ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- ability to maintain cooperative working relationships
- basic math skills
- willingness to occasionally upgrade skills to meet job requirements
- capacity to adapt to changing work priorities and meet deadlines
- ability to work in a warehouse and commercial kitchen environment
- availability to perform occasional after-hours duties
Job Qualifications
- must have valid Indiana driver's license
- job related experience desired
- ability to operate delivery vehicles and small tools such as pallet jack
- forklift license desired
- good organizational skills

- ability to carry out instructions given in written or oral form
Job Duties
- deliver satellite meals including breakfast and lunch from satellite kitchen to individual school sites
- deliver catering items upon request
- deliver items from district warehouse to individual sites on time and in good condition
- maintain sanitary condition of delivery vehicles and district warehouse including walk-ins
- manage inventory and organization of warehouse in collaboration with food service purchasing coordinator
- communicate with personnel to provide necessary decision making information
- maintain accurate paperwork
- perform regular maintenance of delivery vehicles and report any repair needs to food service director
- conduct minor repairs and maintenance on food service equipment like ice machines, filter systems, and refrigeration coils
- assist personnel to support the completion of their work tasks
- create a positive environment to provide quality customer service and support food service staff retention
- perform additional duties as assigned by food service director or district office staff
- perform after-hours duties as required occasionally
