Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow safety protocols on the road and during loading or unloading
- Ability to adhere to food safety regulations
- Capacity to lift, bend, push, pull, walk and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Ability to problem-solve and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hospital safety policies
Job Duties
- Deliver patient meal carts and snacks to the correct location and within the designated time window
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations regarding sanitation, food handling, and storage
- Communicate effectively with food service department and healthcare facility staff
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in patient-facing interactions
- Follow hospital policies and best practices for safety, including while loading and unloading
- Solve problems and think on your feet to address delivery challenges
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting in other kitchen areas
