- Proven capability to accurately interpret and execute culinary instructions and recipes
- Demonstrated ability to maintain productivity and composure in a high-volume, dynamic kitchen setting
- Proficiency in English communication (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction and positive interpersonal skills with team members
- Comprehensive understanding and adherence to food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Exceptional focus and precision in all food preparation and plating tasks
- High level of stamina and a proactive, energetic work ethic
- A cooperative and supportive attitude for effective teamwork
- Clear and effective verbal communication abilities
- Physical ability to frequently bend, stoop, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds to waist height
- Capable of transporting items up to 50 pounds across distances of up to 25 feet
- Capacity to remain standing and actively engaged for shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours
- Ability to perceive, comprehend, and promptly respond to the requests of both colleagues and patrons in a noisy environment
- Willingness to endure exposure to extreme temperature variations (from sub-zero to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit) throughout scheduled shifts.
Job Duties
- Assist kitchen management with station setup and ensure adequate stocking of all necessary ingredients and supplies based on projected business volume
- Perform detailed preparation tasks for menu items to ensure readiness for all restaurant services
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the cooking line area, including sweeping floors, managing waste removal, and completing all assigned cleaning duties
- Support front-of-house staff as needed to quickly and effectively meet all guest requests
- Efficiently address operational concerns and constructively report unresolved issues to the supervisory or management team
- Ensure smooth, continuous communication with fellow kitchen staff to guarantee timely and accurate service delivery for every guest
- Strictly comply with all local and company health and safety standards across all food preparation and dining zones
- Execute directives and perform assigned tasks from the Manager during the entire shift
- Occasionally interact with customers and offer assistance with their immediate dining needs
- Contribute to the consistent quality of our diverse menu of slow-smoked and fire-grilled meats, which are prepared for various service models including dine-in, take-out, online orders, catering, and delivery.
