Job Requirements

  • high school graduation or equivalent
  • at least 6 months of cashiering, clerical or general office experience
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • ability to do simple arithmetic
  • ability to understand oral and written instructions
  • experience in similar operations preferred
  • meets University Health System retail service cashier competencies

  • accept payments and make change
  • safeguard and account for money from transactions

  • assist in reconciling and verifying transaction accuracy
  • follow University Health and Food Service Department policies and procedures
  • maintain good guest and working relations
  • follow supervisor instructions for regular and additional duties
