- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- friendly customer service attitude
- ability to accurately calculate and count change rapidly and repetitively
- good reading, writing and math skills
- ability to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required
- ability to learn point of sale cash register system
- ability to operate beverage brewing, dispensing and cleaning equipment
- food handlers card required within 30 days of hire for Banner Staffing Services team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge
- effective interpersonal communication skills
- friendly customer service attitude
- good reading, writing and math skills
- ability to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required
- ability to learn point of sale cash register system
- knowledge of beverage brewing and or dispensing equipment and cleaning equipment preferred
- additional related education and or experience preferred
Job Duties
- Accurately records all sales in the point of sale system
- transacts payments with customers
- stores, counts, deposits and maintains register cash and receivables in accordance with policies and procedures
- maintains all assigned stations, keeping them clean, well-stocked, and attractive at all times
- provides service to customers, meeting standards and guidelines
- responds to customer complaints and assists with problem resolution
- may perform cleaning, stocking, sign maintenance and other duties as assigned
