Job Description
Lagoon is a popular amusement park known for providing fun, entertainment, and excellent food and beverage services to its visitors. Situated in Utah, Lagoon offers a wide range of attractions and culinary experiences to guests of all ages. The park operates food concession stands that serve various food items and beverages, including alcohol, ensuring that guests have a complete and enjoyable visit. Lagoon is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service in all its operations.
Job Requirements
- Able to stand and or walk for up to eight (8) hours
- Able to obtain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Seller-Server Certification
- Able to obtain a valid Davis County Food Handler’s Permit
- Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register and credit card machine
- Knowledge of Lagoon Responsible Alcohol Service Plan
- Follow all State and Federal guidelines as outlined by the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control
- Follow all food and safety guidelines as outlined by the Davis County Department of Environmental Health
Job Qualifications
- Able to obtain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Seller-Server Certification
- Able to obtain a valid Davis County Food Handler’s Permit
- Experience in cash handling and operating cash registers preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow food safety and alcohol service guidelines
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Pour and serve alcohol to Lagoon guests in accordance to the Lagoon Responsible Alcohol Service Plan
- Take guests orders at food locations
- Handle cash, operate a cash register and credit card machine
- Count back change according to Lagoon's cash handling and cash control policies
- Prepare and serve food and drinks to guests
- Assist with bussing tables and handling dirty dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation procedures in the work area
