Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED minimum
  • Minimum of 5 years culinary experience
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
  • SERV Safe certified
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and MSDS information
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Mature walk with Jesus Christ and ability to articulate faith

Job Duties

  • Direct kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and cleanup
  • Assign tasks and supervise attendants cooks stewarding volunteers and specialty department coordinators
  • Assist in menu planning ordering and implementation of donations to create a nutritional and healthy menu
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and donation providers through deliveries and communication
  • Resolve issues as they arise and report to the Director of Food Services
  • Hold staff accountable and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Maintain kitchen control to ensure tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively
