Job Requirements
- High school graduate
- experience in food service or related field preferred
- ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 30 lbs
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- willingness to work rotating shifts including days from 7:00am to 3:30pm and 10:30am to 7:00pm
- adherence to dress code including white scrub top, black scrub pants or acceptable black cargo pants, waterproof or skid proof footwear
- compliance with safety rules and timely reporting of unsafe conditions

Job Duties
- Assemble patient meals with accuracy and speed in accordance with the menu, utilize appropriate serving utensils and portion control, assemble trays for modified diets differentiating between regular, modified food, and liquids, operate and care for food service equipment including dish machines and pot sinks, operate dish machine and ware washing equipment efficiently, record dish machine temperatures according to procedures, follow pot washing and sanitizing procedures, maintain clean work areas and dispose of trash and cardboard appropriately, comply with safety, health, and regulatory agency requirements, follow infection prevention protocols including proper food holding, serving, and storage, interact compassionately and respectfully with patients, families, and staff demonstrating empathy and sensitivity
