Job Requirements
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Ability to stand and walk continually for long periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Basic to intermediate computer skills including MS Office and email
- Availability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Deschutes County Food Handlers Card required
- OLCC Alcohol Service Permit preferred
- ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
- Previous experience in food service, barista, or customer service in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Previous money handling experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Prepares food products and beverages in accordance with safe food handling guidelines
- Operates espresso machine and prepares specialty coffee drinks
- Provides excellent customer service and accommodates special requests
- Stocks and maintains cleanliness of café and deli areas
- Assists with catering events including serving and bartending
- Assembles patient meal trays and delivers them with accuracy and attention to dietary restrictions
- Cleans dishes, equipment, kitchen areas, and performs waste management
