  • Basic to intermediate experience with computer applications and electronic communication
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Must hold a valid Deschutes County Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously
  • Ability to lift and carry light to moderate weights
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service, barista, or customer service in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Previous money handling experience preferred
  • Deschutes County Food Handlers Card required
  • OLCC Alcohol Service Permit preferred
  • ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Strong team and collaborative skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency

Job Duties

  • Prepares food products and beverages in accordance with safe food handling guidelines
  • Operates espresso machine and prepares specialty coffee drinks
  • Provides excellent customer service and makes product recommendations
  • Stocks and maintains cleanliness of assigned café or deli areas
  • Performs light cooking tasks such as grill or sandwich preparation
  • Assists with catering setup, serving, and bartending as assigned
  • Assembles patient meal trays accurately and delivers them following safety protocols
