Job Requirements

  • Deschutes County Food Handlers Card required
  • OLCC Alcohol Service Permit preferred
  • ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must comply with all organizational policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service, barista, and customer service preferred
  • Previous money handling experience preferred
  • Ability to operate espresso machines and prepare specialty coffee drinks
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Experience in cash handling
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills including email and MS Office

Job Duties

  • Prepares food products and beverages in accordance with safe food handling guidelines
  • Operates espresso machine and prepares hot beverages as assigned
  • Provides excellent customer service and accommodates customer preferences
  • Stocks and maintains cleanliness of café or deli areas
  • Performs light cooking duties at grill or salad bars
  • Assists in catering events as server, bartender, or dishwasher
  • Delivers patient meals ensuring correct orders and dietary compliance
