Job Requirements
- Deschutes County Food Handlers Card required
- OLCC Alcohol Service Permit preferred
- ServSafe Manager Certification preferred
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must comply with all organizational policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service, barista, and customer service preferred
- Previous money handling experience preferred
- Ability to operate espresso machines and prepare specialty coffee drinks
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Experience in cash handling
- Basic to intermediate computer skills including email and MS Office
Job Duties
- Prepares food products and beverages in accordance with safe food handling guidelines
- Operates espresso machine and prepares hot beverages as assigned
- Provides excellent customer service and accommodates customer preferences
- Stocks and maintains cleanliness of café or deli areas
- Performs light cooking duties at grill or salad bars
- Assists in catering events as server, bartender, or dishwasher
- Delivers patient meals ensuring correct orders and dietary compliance
