Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
Ability to see with 20/40 vision (corrective lenses acceptable)
Ability to communicate information clearly and accurately
Ability to follow safety procedures including emergency response
Frequent reaching, gripping, wrist movement and finger dexterity
Frequent squatting and kneeling
Ability to push/pull up to 20 pounds
Frequent lifting of 20 pounds or less
Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb a stepladder
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Job Qualifications

At least 18 years of age
Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience in retail sales, food service and handling cash preferred
Ability to perform basic math accurately
Proficient English communication skills including oral, written, and telephone communication
Ability to work various scheduled shifts and punctuality
Ability to work with required equipment, tools, and materials
Capability to perform essential duties under described working conditions

Job Duties

Cashier duties including accurately ringing up customers and taking various forms of payment
Answering questions about the food items offered
Food preparation
Adhering to safe and sanitary food handling practices
Replenishing supplies and food
Cleaning surface areas and disposing of trash
Receiving and unloading stock
Performing general housekeeping duties
Resolving customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction
Obtaining and maintaining all required food and age restricted product certifications within 2 weeks of employment
Assisting with standard store operations including lotto, alcohol and tobacco sales, cashiering, and fuel attendant duties
Providing prompt and courteous customer service
Arriving on time and in uniform for all assigned shifts
Acting as a positive team player and contributing to a positive work environment
Complying with all company policies and safety procedures
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
