Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for entire shift
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary food and age-restricted product certifications
  • Ability to work assigned shifts punctually and in uniform
  • Ability to comply with safety procedures
  • Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform frequent reaching, gripping, wrist movements, squatting, kneeling, and climbing a stepladder
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in retail sales, food service, and handling cash preferred
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately
  • Proficient communication skills in English both oral and written, including telephone communication
  • Ability to work various shifts as scheduled
  • Ability to work with equipment, tools, and materials as required
  • Ability to perform essential duties and work under described physical conditions

Job Duties

  • Perform cashier duties including ringing up customers and accepting various forms of payment
  • Answer questions about food items offered
  • Prepare food while adhering to safe and sanitary handling practices
  • Replenish supplies and food items
  • Clean surface areas and maintain cleanliness including trash disposal
  • Receive and unload stock
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Obtain and maintain required food and age-restricted product certifications within two weeks of employment
  • Assist with store operations including lotto, alcohol and tobacco sales, cashiering, and fuel attendant tasks
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service consistently
  • Work assigned shifts punctually and professionally
  • Act as a positive team player contributing to work environment
  • Comply with company policies, including safety and environmental procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
