Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Ability to stand and/or walk for entire shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to perform basic math accurately
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary food and age-restricted product certifications
- Ability to work assigned shifts punctually and in uniform
- Ability to comply with safety procedures
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform frequent reaching, gripping, wrist movements, squatting, kneeling, and climbing a stepladder
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in retail sales, food service, and handling cash preferred
- Ability to perform basic math accurately
- Proficient communication skills in English both oral and written, including telephone communication
- Ability to work various shifts as scheduled
- Ability to work with equipment, tools, and materials as required
- Ability to perform essential duties and work under described physical conditions
Job Duties
- Perform cashier duties including ringing up customers and accepting various forms of payment
- Answer questions about food items offered
- Prepare food while adhering to safe and sanitary handling practices
- Replenish supplies and food items
- Clean surface areas and maintain cleanliness including trash disposal
- Receive and unload stock
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Obtain and maintain required food and age-restricted product certifications within two weeks of employment
- Assist with store operations including lotto, alcohol and tobacco sales, cashiering, and fuel attendant tasks
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service consistently
- Work assigned shifts punctually and professionally
- Act as a positive team player contributing to work environment
- Comply with company policies, including safety and environmental procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
