Job Requirements

  • A servant's heart to serve the least, the last and the lost
  • Class C driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Food handler's certificate or permit
  • 2 or more years of cooking and food preparation experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-capacity environment
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, special events and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food handler's certificate or permit
  • Minimum 2 years of food preparation and cooking experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-capacity environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook over 1,200 meals daily
  • Ensure compliance with kitchen sanitation and safety protocols
  • Transport meals safely between campuses and local shelters
  • Mentor and train program participants in kitchen skills and work ethics
  • Assist with catering meals for onsite and offsite events
  • Support warehouse operations such as sorting and rotating donated supplies
