Job Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- reliable transportation and active driver’s license
- flexibility to work weekends holidays and evening shifts and assist other locations
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand for long periods bend and twist below waist frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies as well as reach above shoulder height
- dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use knives slicers burners ovens fryers and rotisseries
- work in walk-in coolers and freezers
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management

- minimum 2 years foodservice or retail management experience
- ability to operate cash register and deli equipment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- vocational or technical education preferred
Job Duties
- Process cash register transactions giving back change and refunds
- learn to use register scales scanners and debit/credit terminals
- learn to use UPC codes store signage and memorize various register keys and codes
- read UPC codes product labels shelf signage register forms and company policies/procedures
- learn and work with deli ingredients including various meat items vegetables fruits spices nuts flavorings sauces and oils
- use scale printer machines ensuring weights and pricing are correct
- monitor product pricing signage and placement using product shelf tags and shelf signage
- keep clean neat and orderly check stand sales counter and work production areas
- prepare wrap box weigh slice and stock deli/food service products rotating them as necessary
- prepare and cook deli and food service items including fried foods salads sandwiches roller grill items hot and cold beverages prepared meals and snack items
- work safely around sharp slicers tools hot ovens and burners
- display products following deli department and merchandising guidelines
- take guest orders ensuring orders completed on time and to guest satisfaction
- perform other duties assigned by Store Manager
