Job Requirements
- hold a current State of Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check
- ability to work on feet for extended periods
- able to lift up to 50 pounds
- demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- availability to work flexible hours
- willing to undergo training and cross-training as needed
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in food service preferred but not required
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- strong team player with good communication skills
- basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- assist with food preparation and serving
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
- operate kitchen equipment safely
- follow food safety and hygiene standards
- provide excellent customer service to students and staff
- lift and move kitchen supplies as needed
- participate in cross-training for other kitchen roles
