Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- food handling experience preferred
- passing the required pre-placement exam
- ability to work in a commercial food service and kitchen environment
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying and moving up to 50 pound containers
- eligibility to pass criminal background check
- scheduled work hours are to be determined

Job Duties
- Assist Food Service Department staff with basic food preparation
- maintain proper food storage
- maintain cleanliness of food service, dining and storage areas
- clean dishes, kitchen utensils and equipment
- clean tables, chairs, floors and surfaces
- receive, transport and store food according to sanitary handling standards
- scoop bulk foods into containers, make and wrap food portions, package food orders
- prepare dining area for meal time
- prepare and serve meals as directed
- count products received and shipped
- verify quantity, quality and type of products against daily summaries and work orders
- provide accurate and timely numbers for production and inventory
