Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Open availability preferred including weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store
  • Positive attitude and readiness to work hard
  • Must comply with all company procedures and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • ServSafe certification a plus
  • Proven work experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or similar role in food service
  • Proven customer service experience with a track record for problem solving
  • Proficient food and beverage knowledge
  • Computer literate
  • Strong motivational and people skills
  • Working knowledge of food service and coffee equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor problems

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the daily operation of all food service areas including made to order food, commissary food, bakery, and dispensed beverages
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Order and maintain proper inventory levels for goods, supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Enforce all company procedures and protocols
  • Provide the best customer experience to every customer
  • Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting
  • Suggest possible purchases to the customers and promote specials
  • Assume full responsibility for the execution of Nouria's customer service program at the site level
  • Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers by ensuring compliance with safety policies
  • Assure all environmental and hazardous material regulations are strictly enforced
  • Maintain safety and security of the store and document any accidents or incidents
  • Manage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store
  • Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
  • Support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program
  • Promptly report and investigate workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses
  • Complete new employee safety orientation procedures
  • Regularly inspect stores for workplace hazards and initiate corrective actions
  • Encourage employees to report unsafe conditions and initiate corrective actions
  • Promote a quick return to work for employees under supervision
  • Maintain physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilities
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
