Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school
- Two years experience in food preparation or food service operation
- Ability to obtain a valid California Driver's License
- Ability to obtain a valid California Sanitation Certificate
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment physical assessment
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Ability to operate food service equipment
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school
- Two years of experience in food preparation and service
- Ability to train and supervise student workers and staff
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
- Proficiency in cashiering and cash management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate food service equipment and maintain cleanliness
- Familiarity with nutritional requirements
- Valid California Driver's License
- Valid California Sanitation Certificate
Job Duties
- Monitor and participate in food preparation and serving according to menu specifications
- Assure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain food quality and temperature standards
- Prepare and assemble various food items
- Operate cash register and perform cashiering duties
- Clean and maintain food service areas and equipment
- Train and provide work direction to assigned student workers and staff
- Inventory and cost food and supplies
- Receive and verify deliveries
- Assist with catering and special events
- Drive vehicle to transport food to outside events
- Perform related duties as assigned
