Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • willingness to pass pre-placement exam
  • ability to perform moderate physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • capability to work in a commercial kitchen environment
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • willingness to undergo criminal background check

Job Duties

  • assist food service staff with basic food preparation
  • ensure proper food storage
  • maintain cleanliness of food service, dining, and storage areas
  • clean dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • clean tables, chairs, floors, and surfaces
  • receive, transport, and store food following sanitary standards
  • scoop bulk foods into containers and package food portions
  • prepare and serve meals as directed
  • count and verify products received and shipped
  • provide accurate production and inventory data
