- food sanitation or food handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- two-step TB test required
- experience operating kitchen equipment in a safe manner required

Job Duties
- assist cook with food preparation
- adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and food service requirements in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and agency standards
- prepare table in dining areas
- serve tables before, during and after meal service
- assist in care and cleaning of dining room and kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and supplies
- demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner
