Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Currently holds TIPS certification for approved alcohol server seller training
  • Ability to assist in preparing and serving food
  • Ability to read and write
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations
  • Ability to operate food service equipment and appliances
  • Ability to use kitchen utensils
  • Ability to work in irritating environments and adverse temperature conditions
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to lift, transport and stock food service supplies, materials and equipment

Job Duties

  • Currently holds TIPS certification for approved alcohol server seller training
  • Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
  • Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
  • Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive
  • Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
  • Accountability in maintaining inventory
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to verify the customers’ ages
  • Clean glasses and bar utensils
  • Ability to set up bar and clean bar at end of shift
  • Assists with the preparation of food items by slicing, chopping, grating, cleaning, mixing, etc
  • Serves food and drink following established food portion control standards
  • Maintains the operational readiness of facilities and equipment
  • sets up counters, steam tables, serving lines and serving utensils
  • Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in cooking, serving and general work areas
  • cleans facilities and equipment, washes, sanitizes, and stores pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
  • Assists in stocking and storing drink and food service items
  • Keeps records pertaining to daily operations, food production, consumption and inventory
  • Frequently lifting 25 pounds up to 50 pounds
