Job Requirements

  • Partial high school education
  • Food safety certification
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to stand for entire work day
  • Ability to work in temperature extremes
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Physical presence at job site required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and supervisor's instructions
  • Take temperatures at regular intervals and maintain food quantities while minimizing waste
  • Prepare and arrange food for serving ensuring proper presentation
  • Provide customer service by taking and serving orders efficiently
  • Clean counters, equipment, and general work areas
  • Replenish and inventory food items and supplies
  • Cook short order items and perform simple food preparation
  • Assist in maintaining kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule
  • Assist with loading and unloading inventory
  • Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to management
