Job Requirements

  • Must obtain a valid Food Handler's Permit State Food Worker Card prior to the first day of work per state law
  • must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per state regulations
  • ability to multitask stay organized and maintain calm during high-volume shifts
  • previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant preferred but not required
  • strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with guests
  • working knowledge of POS systems preferred but not required
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly with energy enthusiasm and genuine hospitality
  • accurately take food and beverage orders confirm modifications and enter all items correctly into the POS system
  • deliver drinks appetizers entrees and desserts with proper timing and presentation
  • maintain strong menu knowledge including ingredients allergens and daily specials
  • monitor table activity and anticipate guest needs refills extra sauces additional items etc
  • ensure tables are clean reset and guest-ready throughout service
  • collaborate with hosts expo sushi chefs and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow
  • assist with to-go orders packaging and accuracy during high-volume periods
  • handle cash credit and digital payments following all cash-handling procedures
  • follow all food safety sanitation and health department standards including proper glove use handwashing and PPE when required
  • maintain a clean organized workstation and support side work duties before during and after shifts
  • demonstrate integrity teamwork and a positive attitude while contributing to a respectful and inclusive culture
