Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one experience working in in room dining or fine dining restaurant
- Requires extensive knowledge of the resort, hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a team driven environment
- Ability to understand and explain menu items and preparations
- Highly organized and ability to set and clear in room dining orders efficiently
- Ability to apply positive personalized service to every guest’s interaction
- Passion for delivery excellent guest service and enjoy the hospitality service industry
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights and weekends
- Able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

Job Duties
- Responsible for providing an excellent in room dining service experience to every guest
- Responsible for embracing the Fontainebleau culture values and living the Fontainebleau promise
- Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of guest food and beverage selections to the privacy of the guest’s room or suite
- Responsible for the accurate assembly and preparation of order prior to delivery
- Responsible for thoroughly understanding and explain the menu items and preparations
- Required to personalize the service through use of guest by name and a sincere interest in the guest’s well-being
- Responsible for providing the guest with a complete dining room experience offering seating assistance, beverage and first course service
- Responsible for serving hot foods hot and cold foods cold while reviewing the details of the guest order to ensure accurate delivery
- Required to present the guest check in a professional manner following check presentation guidelines
- Required to arrange a follow up with the guest with a preferred time for bussing
- Required to exit the room in a respectful and appreciative manner using the guest’s name
- Responsible for the clearing of dishes, tables and trays from the guest room as requested or assigned
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the guest hallways and elevator landings
- Responsible for the accurate run card documentation of every delivery and assignment including room numbers, check numbers, guests served, time of delivery and gratuity collected
- Completes end of shift financials and tip committee reconciliation
- Responsible for maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
