Job Requirements

- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to provide excellent guest service
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Familiarity with health and safety standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules

- Must wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate POS system
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Takes accurate orders from customers and enters orders in POS system
- Makes food recommendations and pairs beverages
- Clears and cleans tables after meals
- Upsells food and beverage items to maximize profitability
- Presents menu and offers cocktails and aperitifs to guests
- Explains chef's specialties and identifies appropriate wines
- Follows food handling, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Maintains communication with kitchen staff regarding meal timing
- Keeps work area stocked and clean
- Wears required non-slip, oil-resistant shoes
- Reports safety issues and follows PPE and OSHA regulations
- Completes side work before, during, and after shifts
- Notifies management of unsafe conditions or needed maintenance
- Resolves guest complaints within scope and notifies supervisors of unusual events
- Ensures minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
- Notifies management of disruptive behavior or intoxication incidents
