Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Previous cashiering experience preferred
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability for flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to process cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to tolerate noise, smoke and bright lights
  • Ability to use hand motions for payment processing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or comparable experience
  • Prior customer service experience in a fast paced environment preferred
  • Previous cashiering experience in a high volume restaurant preferred
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Available to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policies
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Able to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Able to work at a fast pace in a crowded/noisy environment
  • Able to accurately and quickly process cash transactions
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
  • Able to reach above and below the shoulder, bend, stoop and twist
  • Able to tolerate industry standard cleaning chemicals

Job Duties

  • Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and restaurant staff
  • Engages in friendly conversations with guests using the 10/5 rule
  • Operates a cash register/POS system, accurately handling transactions and maintaining financial controls
  • Keeps designated working area clean and organized and assists with dining room cleanliness
  • Recognizes Diamond and Platinum players and communicates with team members to ensure appropriate service
  • Resolves service issues according to the service recovery toolbox
  • Promotes current casino events and provides directions to guests
  • Thanks customers, invites them back, wishes them luck and facilitates return visits
