- be willing to work holidays
- be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages
- be able to stay on feet for long periods of time
- be able to read, write, and speak English
- be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

- be physically capable of lifting trays and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Greet residents by name
- take meal orders and answer questions about the menu
- serve meals and beverages
- ensure the dining room is clean, attractive, and operating smoothly
- serve during special events and catered functions
- maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors
