  • Experience as a server in an upscale or luxury hospitality setting preferred
  • Knowledge of wine and beverage service
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift trays with food and beverages
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor and escort them to their tables
  • Provide attentive and personalized service by taking orders accurately and responding promptly to guest requests
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials
  • Offer recommendations for beverages, appetizers, main courses, and desserts
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals
  • Communicate special requests, allergies, or dietary restrictions to the kitchen team
  • Present a diverse range of beverages while adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas
  • Set tables according to established standards
  • Regularly check with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns professionally
  • Resolve guest issues or complaints effectively
  • Present bills accurately and handle payment transactions securely
  • Work in harmony with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers
  • Assist colleagues during peak times and support team members as needed
