Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift moderate weight
- Willingness to adhere to community policies and procedures
- Preferred but not required: fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service preferred but not required
- Ability to provide friendly, efficient customer service
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Provide fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone
- Know the daily and weekly menus and keep food descriptions positive and enthusiastic
- Take residents orders, gather drinks and appetizers and serve them efficiently and timely
- Keep tables clear of dirty dishes and be available to residents at all times
- Ensure residents receive entrees and dessert in a timely manner
- Check up on residents at least three times during their visit to ensure satisfaction
- Buss, reset section and complete daily sidework
- Perform pantry, hostess, or expo duties when needed
- Be a team player
- Avoid personal conversations while serving residents and guests
- Ensure section is tidy and in proper order before and after serving
- Use time effectively to complete duties as scheduled
- Understand and work towards community goals
- Correct all deficiencies promptly
