Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
excellent communication skills
ability to stand and walk for long periods
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
willing to comply with The Village's vaccination preference
must be able to follow instructions and work efficiently
reliable and punctual
ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties

Provide fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone
know the daily and weekly menus and keep descriptions positive and enthusiastic
take residents orders, gather drinks and appetizers in the pantry, and serve items in an efficient and timely manner
keep tables clear of dirty dishes and remain available to residents at all times
ensure residents receive entrees and desserts in a timely manner
check on residents at least three times during their visit to ensure satisfaction
buss and reset section, complete daily sidework
take on pantry, hostess, or expo duties when needed
be a team player
avoid personal conversations while serving residents or guests
ensure section appearance and order before and after serving
use time effectively to complete duties according to schedule
understand and achieve goals
correct deficiencies promptly
