Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- willing to comply with The Village's vaccination preference
- must be able to follow instructions and work efficiently
- reliable and punctual
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties
- Provide fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone
- know the daily and weekly menus and keep descriptions positive and enthusiastic
- take residents orders, gather drinks and appetizers in the pantry, and serve items in an efficient and timely manner
- keep tables clear of dirty dishes and remain available to residents at all times
- ensure residents receive entrees and desserts in a timely manner
- check on residents at least three times during their visit to ensure satisfaction
- buss and reset section, complete daily sidework
- take on pantry, hostess, or expo duties when needed
- be a team player
- avoid personal conversations while serving residents or guests
- ensure section appearance and order before and after serving
- use time effectively to complete duties according to schedule
- understand and achieve goals
- correct deficiencies promptly
