Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to provide pleasant and efficient service
- basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- willingness to engage with senior residents respectfully
- availability to work scheduled shifts including holidays and weekends
- fully vaccinated for COVID-19 preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food service or hospitality experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- customer service oriented mindset
- ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
- positive attitude and team player
Job Duties
- Provide fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone
- know the daily and weekly menus and keep descriptions of food positive and enthusiastic
- take residents orders, gather drinks and appetizers in the pantry, and serve the items efficiently and timely
- keep tables clear of dirty dishes and be available to residents at all times
- ensure that residents receive their entrees and dessert in a timely manner
- check up on residents at least 3 times during their visit to ensure satisfaction
- buss, reset section and complete daily sidework
- take on pantry, hostess, or expo duties whenever needed
- be a team player
- avoid personal conversations while taking care of residents and guests
- ensure section has desired appearance and is in proper order before and after serving time
- use time effectively to ensure duties are complete according to schedule
- understand the goals that must be achieved
- correct all deficiencies as soon as possible
