Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior food service experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • adherence to The Village Management Staff Philosophy and Mission Statements
  • fully vaccinated preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to serving and bussing
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provides fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone
  • knows the daily and weekly menus and can keep descriptions of food positive and enthusiastic
  • takes resident orders, gathers drinks and appetizers in the pantry, and serves items efficiently and timely
  • keeps tables clear of dirty dishes and remains available to residents
  • ensures residents receive entrees and desserts timely
  • checks on residents at least three times during their visit to ensure satisfaction
  • buss, resets section and completes daily sidework
  • takes on pantry, hostess, or expo duties when needed
  • acts as a team player
  • avoids personal conversations during service
  • ensures section appearance is maintained before and after serving
  • uses time effectively to complete duties according to schedule
  • understands and works toward community goals
  • corrects deficiencies promptly
