Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to provide friendly and efficient service
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for serving seniors
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone
  • Know the daily and weekly menus and keep descriptions of food positive and enthusiastic
  • Take residents orders, gather drinks and appetizers in the pantry, and serve the items efficiently and timely
  • Keep tables clear of dirty dishes and be available to residents at all times
  • Ensure residents receive entrees and dessert in a timely manner
  • Check on residents at least 3 times during their visit to ensure satisfaction
  • Buss and reset sections and complete daily side work
  • Perform pantry, hostess, or expo duties as needed
  • Be a team player and avoid personal conversations while serving
  • Maintain the desired appearance and order of the section before and after serving time
  • Use time effectively to ensure duties are completed according to schedule
  • Understand and work towards achievement of goals
  • Correct all deficiencies promptly
