Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a food service environment preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and politely
Capacity to handle physical aspects of the job including standing and walking for extended periods
Must be reliable and punctual
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to take on various duties as needed
Preferred to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage
Knowledge of menu items and food service procedures
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to work well within a team
Basic understanding of health and safety standards
Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Duties

Provide fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone
Know the daily and weekly menus and keep descriptions of food positive and enthusiastic
Take residents orders, gather drinks and appetizers in the pantry, and serve items in an efficient and timely manner
Keep tables clear of dirty dishes and remain available to residents at all times
Ensure residents receive entrees and dessert promptly
Check on residents at least three times during their visit to ensure satisfaction
Buss and reset section and complete daily sidework
Take on pantry, hostess, or expo duties when needed
Be a team player
Avoid personal conversations while serving
Ensure section is orderly before and after service
Use time effectively to complete duties on schedule
Understand and work towards goals
Correct deficiencies promptly
