Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a food service environment preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and politely
  • Capacity to handle physical aspects of the job including standing and walking for extended periods
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to take on various duties as needed
  • Preferred to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage
  • Knowledge of menu items and food service procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Basic understanding of health and safety standards
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, efficient, friendly service to everyone
  • Know the daily and weekly menus and keep descriptions of food positive and enthusiastic
  • Take residents orders, gather drinks and appetizers in the pantry, and serve items in an efficient and timely manner
  • Keep tables clear of dirty dishes and remain available to residents at all times
  • Ensure residents receive entrees and dessert promptly
  • Check on residents at least three times during their visit to ensure satisfaction
  • Buss and reset section and complete daily sidework
  • Take on pantry, hostess, or expo duties when needed
  • Be a team player
  • Avoid personal conversations while serving
  • Ensure section is orderly before and after service
  • Use time effectively to complete duties on schedule
  • Understand and work towards goals
  • Correct deficiencies promptly
