Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous experience in similar position of 3 months or longer
- Ability to communicate satisfactorily in English speak read write with guests co-workers and management
- Ability to perform duties with attention to detail speed accuracy follow-through courtesy cooperation and minimal supervision
- Ability to lift push pull and carry up to 50 lbs including serving trays carts tables chairs and small equipment up to 75% of the time
- Ability to balance stoop kneel crouch crawl reach handle and finger throughout the shift
- Full range of mobility with ability to travel up to 300 feet regularly
- Ability to stand continuously during preparation service hours and expediting
- Vision ability to see minute objects at arm's length and read meters and controls
- Knowledge of standard restaurant equipment including coffee machines ice machines toasters and beverage dispensers
- Exposure to physical demands and environmental conditions including heat cold and cleaning chemicals
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar assistant server or front of house position for 3 months or longer
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in prioritizing work and managing time efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team
- Strong interpersonal skills with a welcoming and warm personality
- Ability to learn and integrate new information quickly
- Comfortable engaging with diverse guests and staff
Job Duties
- Responsible for the timely delivery of food and beverages ensuring high standard plate and drink presentations
- Clear and reset tables according to established standards for quick seating of new customers
- Remove full tubs from bus stations to dishwashing area and maintain clean well-stocked bus station for efficiency
- Maintain knowledge of all liquor brands wines beers non-alcoholic selections glassware and garnishes
- Retain knowledge of all menu items prices preparation methods major ingredients quality standards
- Retrieve cleaned dishes glassware and utensils from dish room and distribute to service stations
- Maintain knowledge of and abide by state liquor regulations prohibiting service to minors intoxicated persons and drunk driving
