Job Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Basic proficiency with point of sale POS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain if required
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment maintaining professionalism and courtesy
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience with food handling sanitation standards and food safety protocols
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is beneficial
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety sanitation and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions special requests or concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist with food handling preparation bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
