Job Requirements
- Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to four hours
- Must have a varying schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Good sense of balance and ability to reach, bend, kneel, and lift trays up to 40 pounds
- Able to work in environments with wet floors and loud noises
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and complete computer data entry
- Valid Food Handler's Card
- Valid Alcohol Server Permit
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sequence of service and dining room procedures
- Minimum of one year experience as a server or front of house support
- Guest sensitive with a sense of timing
- Able to make good decisions with managerial assistance
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
Job Duties
- Follows proper service sequence as defined by ERI
- Greets guests in a warm and welcoming manner
- Educates guests on core menu and seasonal menu items
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests and enters order into POS
- Communicates any special requests or allergy issues to kitchen staff
- Prepares non-alcoholic beverages and coordinates alcohol orders with bartender
- Ensures timely delivery and presentation of food and beverages
- Maintains proper dining experience by checking satisfaction and fulfilling guest needs
- Pre-busses tables by removing used items
- Reviews guest check and processes payments accurately
- Assists with special events as needed
- Cleans and restocks tables and server aisle
- Completes side work and additional projects as assigned
