Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to work part-time
availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to lift up to 25 pounds
strong communication skills
previous experience preferred

Job Qualifications

Capability to remain upright for extended durations and manage weighty equipment
Showing a high level of thoroughness and an inclination towards tidiness
Proficiency in engaging and working jointly with the rest of the kitchen colleagues
Awareness of sanitation and safety rules is necessary

Job Duties

Maintaining the hygienic standards and operational effectiveness of the kitchen is pivotal in this position
The role requires keeping all kitchen tools, dishes, and equipment clean, systematically arranged, and always ready for use
Ensure the proper sterilization of dishes and cookware through the efficient operation of dishwashers
Use manual washing for certain objects such as wooden utensils and oversized pots
Regularly clean and maintain the dishwasher area to prevent any build-up of dirt or debris
Check the performance of cleaning equipment and dishwashers to validate their efficiency and report any operational issues
Offer aid with food readiness as necessary
Place clean dishes in their designated storage spaces after washing
