Job Requirements
- Food Handlers' certification from local health department
- Some high school education
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and team members
- Adherence to all federal, state and corporate policies and health codes in food preparation and handling
- Willingness to complete pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Some high school education
- Food Handlers' certification from local health department
- Basic knowledge of food service and menu items
- Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and health regulations
- Experience or training in food service preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors
- Prepare tables by laying out napkins, utensils and refilling condiments
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties, and kitchen item availability
- Direct guests to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist in drink selection and communicate guest needs to cooks
- Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses and replenishing utensils
- Perform basic cleaning tasks and assist with special events as needed
- Greet all guests warmly and follow highest cleanliness standards and safety protocols
