Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask during busy hours
- Must be able to work in person at the restaurant location
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction through proactive service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations sanitation practices and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Prior host/hostess experience or serving roles that highlight guest relations skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems ensuring all special requests are noted clearly
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a lively positive attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities utilizing OpenTable or other reservation tools when applicable
- Manage food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to sanitation and safety standards including proper food preparation and bussing
- Assist with host/hostess duties by managing reservations seating arrangements and guest flow during busy hours
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed ensuring timely delivery of orders
