Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Food service server
  • Provides quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors to ensure satisfaction
  • Prepares tables by laying out napkins, utensils and refilling condiments
  • Stays updated on menu choices, specialties and kitchen stock levels
  • Directs guests to tables, presents menus, suggests dishes, assists in drink selection and communicates guest needs to cooks
  • Maintains proper dining experience by delivering items, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses and replenishing utensils
  • Performs basic cleaning tasks as needed
  • Fills in for absent staff as required
  • Assists with special events
  • Greets all guests warmly
  • Follows cleanliness and all federal, state and corporate food safety policies
  • Performs duties safely and reports hazards or accidents
  • Attends mandatory in-service meetings and complies with policies
  • Understands fire and disaster plans and follows procedures in emergencies
