Job Requirements

  • Must have developed language skills to read and comprehend instructions, safety rules and memos
  • Must speak clearly, distinctly and with confidence using appropriate pauses, emphasis and punctuation
  • Requires mathematical development to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure
  • Must have developed reasoning skills to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Must be able to travel to and from function sites
  • Must have a valid NH driver's license and favorable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check and driver record check
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in various physical conditions including walking, sitting, standing, reaching, handling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and smelling
  • Availability to work shift from 4pm to 11pm
  • Non-slip shoes recommended
  • Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
  • Willingness to follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to handle customer complaints or requests promptly and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • No high school diploma required
  • One month related hospitality experience and/or training
  • Developed language skills to read and comprehend instructions, safety rules and memos
  • Ability to speak clearly, distinctly and with confidence
  • Mathematical skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
  • Developed reasoning skills to apply common sense and understand instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to professionally deal with problems in standardized situations
  • Must have a valid NH driver's license and favorable driving record to operate company vehicle

Job Duties

  • Maintain standards of food, beverage and guest service quality
  • Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
  • Serve meals and drinks in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs including refilling drinks and checking in during meals
  • Clear and reset tables between courses and after guests depart
  • Handle customer complaints or requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Communicate immediately to the manager of any kitchen delays or service issues
  • Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Participate in ongoing education and training
  • Attend team and department meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
